                                               Through improvisation, reverence and humor Hatch performers                                                from 8 years to 56 speak, sing, laugh and engage the audience                                                as we all wonder about the implications of age in relation to                                                    trees, buildings, dogs and humans.

                                              Dance as art and the visual arts repertory includes: Shapes in Five                                                 on Seven, Art Museum Surprise, Paintbrushes. Kandinsky,                                                             Pollack, Calder and more are danced as Hatch sees their work.

Hatch Dance Theater challenges a present day phenomenon: our children's busy lives. We invite you into their incredibly stressful daily schedules through movement, improvisation and theater. With a mix of exaggerated nightmare hilarity "I had to go to school in my pajamas!" and poignant realites "I couldn't believe that Math test!" these young performers demand to be heard. *They are joined with adults including moms, students, professional dancers, emerging choreographers and good friends.* *You may remember our young dancers performing for Headlong Dance Theater's CELL at 2006 Philadelphia Live Arts Festival.* *This is Hatch's first Philly Fringe appearance.* *Hope you can pencil us in...*

May 6, 2007	HATCH @ The Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival HATCH Around Town! HATCH Company members and community dancers will perform site-specific dances at Chestnut Hill businesses and a special dance that moves along the Avenue choreographed by faculty member Liza Clark.
May 12, 2007	Youth in the Loop a dance concert at Springfield High School 3 pm as a Fundraiser for Lupus. Hatch students dance in celebration of World Fair Trade Day at Ten Thousand Village 8331 Germantown Avenue. Join us in dance! Bring your drum!
Friday June 8, 2007 7:00 Saturday June 9, 2007 11:00 and 3:00 pm	HATCH Spring Concert: Around Town! at Hatch Theater Space 8333 Germantown Avenue (enter from O'Doodle's Toy Store) HATCH Dance Company, students and community dancers perform dances inspired by familar places around Chestnut Hill.
